Look and Leave
I hear that the look and leave policy ends 10/5. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Also, does anyone know the policy on bringing people in to help you. My dad wants to bring my brother and I over to gather and clean what he can. Will we be able to get in?

Look and Leave
You can all go in together. Just make sure the homeowner has proof of residency. The form that needs to be filled out will ask for the names of everyone in the group. Look and leave does end on Sunday, October 5th, at 4:00 p.m. My guess would be, since that is 10 days from when it started, that they will start the bulldozing of the sand and debris the following week. I have not been able to find any information on when we will be allowed back after that.

I have requested Jim Guidry to verify with Judge Yarborough and Commissioner Doyle and to post it on his site since he is the OFFICIAL news source for Galveston County
as of today, there are no plans to end the look/leave on Oct 5 according to my email with Guidry yesterday.

My fault maybe
That may be my fault, as I posted a direct quote from Doyle several days ago. Thanks for the update.
