My grandparents and my uncle each owned cabins in Gilchrist and I spent a lot of time there in the summers while growing up. I created a virtual tour along the peninsula and have it hosted on my website at:

Thank you, beachcruiser, for direction to this forum so that "people who care" can follow news updates of the devastation within your community. I did try to sign up to the Yahoo Group twice, but was declined access both times. Through this forum, I have been able to find other sites and info in order to offer support to your community. I'm sure there are many others out there that would like to help your community financially and otherwise if they were given the opportunity. My prayers are with all of you for your loss and struggle to rebuild.
